It has really strong burst. When you're not in hype level 3 your damage isn't very good but you can focus on peeling for teammates until you have your burst back up. An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest. The Space Bar is faster, the skill animations arent nearly as clunky. I'm still having fun playing the Arti, but you can definitely feel the difference, lol. I was gonna make a blade next.
