The Spring-Klein Sports Association (SKSA) is a volunteer based non-profit organization located in Spring, Texas that provides the community with youth baseball and adult softball programs for organized team play. Youth Baseball Leagues and Tournaments run throughout the year with programs for players from 5 to 18 years of age.The SKS is accurate enough for 100 yards medium big game hunting. The SKS holds more rounds than the .30-30 lever action, is cheaper to feed, is faster to reload, faster for follow up shots, easier to field strip & clean. In a general bug out SHTF situation where concealing your weapon is not an issue, you're likely to be on foot and can only bring as much gear as you can cary on your person, I strongly believe that the SKS, in it's "as issued" unmodified state, is the best weapon. (I am not a fan of the aftermarket stocks and magazines.) The correct answer is "NO". And given that the prices are pretty close now (350 for the worst chinese sks, mid-high 400s for a polymer ar15) i dont see much of a reason to get an sks over an ar unless you dont live in a free state. .
